UI Design
New design or re-design, simple static website or dynamic web application… we can help! Here is how we do it.
1. Download Design Brief
You Download Design Brief our questionnaire and send it back with as much info as you can.
2. Wireframe
We analyse the requirement and put together on the wireframe. Wireframe gives you an ability to comment on design decision at early stage. It also helps us quickly turn it over the idea into hypothetical concept keeping user experience in mind and allow fast iteration. BTW, we use and love Balsamiq
3. Design Draft
We send you a first draft in jpg format, based on the Design Brief, for the main page (home page for static website or dashboard page for web app. You send us feedback/revisions based on your discussion with your team or client.
4. Revisions & Sign-off
We perform the revisions and send you a revised version. We do a couple of rounds of revisions as required. You approve main design and sign off.
5. Design of Sub pages
We move ahead and design sub pages if required, repeat the steps above and get sign off. We send you PSD(s) with fonts for your future reference.
Revisions
We do a reasonable round of revisions until your expectations are met. normally our clients says “aha” on the 1st draft and sign-off on UI design in 1-2 round of revisions.
Deliverables
We deliver jpg(s) and layered psd(s) with fonts as part of our UI Design service.
Timeline
Once we have the Design Brief questionnaire from you and we all set with question/answers, it usually takes 3-4 business days for us to come up with first draft. For sub pages, it takes 1 day per sub page.
Why Design Brief?
This will help us better understand your client’s expectations in greater detail. We ask questions like the nature of the business, target audiences, what they like/dislike in their competitors’ websites, their preferences for look & feel etc. With precise information, we will be able to produce exactly what the client needs with minimal rounds of changes.
How many design options you provide?
We don’t provide multiple options of the UI design at first, because we think its not productive. Rather, we try to get precise information from you, so that we can produce a design that clients love. Although, if the 1st design is not acceptable , we provide a 2nd option at no additional cost, although this rarely happens.
